Of rounded wide form, bearing a rich nashiji ground and lacquered with a continuous scene of birds among flowering kiku on undulating ground, in gold takamakie with highlights of kirikane, the interior of nashiji, signed Shomin; with lacquered-ivory ojime, decorated with sprays of cherry blossoms, unsigned.
