A rare lacquer circular two-case inro
By Ueda Chikanao, 19th century
Bearing an usu-nashiji ground, lacquered on either side with Chinese pavilions among pine trees in a mountainous landscape with a waterfall to one side, in gold takamakie with profuse kirikane, the sides lacquered with karakusa and the interior of nashiji, signed Chikanao with kao.
