A lacquer five-case inro

Of rectangular tall narrow form and decorated in gold hiramakie, kirikane, gold and silver togidashi on the finely-sprinkled yasuriko ground with a continuous design extending over the top, depicting the complete 'Eight Famous Views of Lake Biwa', the interior of rich nashiji, signed Kajikawa with red pot seal Ei. 10cm (3 15/16in).
