By Tsuchida Soetsu, (c.1660-1745), 18th century
Of ribbed form, the roiro ground mottled-brown in parts, lacquered and inlaid with the takaramono associated with the Seven Gods of Good Fortune, in gold takamakie with inlay of pewter and aogai, the interior of nashiji, signed Tsuchida Soetsu tsukuru.
