Three jades
Comprising a green jade cicada pendant, 6cm (2¼in) long, a very pale and russet jade sword slide decorated with archaistic, curvilinear motifs, 9cm (3½in) long, and a sword slide decorated with two chilong carved in shallow relief, the stone of almost whitish hue, Bluett's label, 10.5cm (4¼in) long (4).

The provenance includes: a Bluett's receipt for the cicada, purchased on 11 December 1990, and dated by Bluett's to the Han Dynasty; it was formerly part of the Collection of Professor Cheng Te-k'un.
The sword slide with curvilinear designs was no 7 in Dr Newton's Zoo, sold Bluett's July 1981.
