- These three lots (1241, 1241, 1243) come from a significant collection of works collected by Dr. George and Eleanor Lehner during various trips to India in the 1960s. A letter from the artist to Mrs. Lehner, dated 29th December 1966, makes reference to close relationship between them and his appreciation for the high regard they held for his paintings.
