A Vaishnavite deity
Mathara, Uttah Pradesh 19th century
Opaque watercolor and gold on paper: standing in relaxed pose leaning on a sword with a pink scabbard and the left hand holds the katar as his arm is supported by a golden mace. A diminutive attendant figure stands by his left foot with a cow.
