Udaipur, circa 1735
Opaque watercolor and gold on paper; the portly figures stand facing each other against a steel blue ground. Jagat Singh in his white jama offers a small indistinguishable gift and Nathji, in his pale red embroidered jama with hands joined in veneration of his brother.
