A mid-19th century yew-wood and inlaid sewing table, Irish, of Killarney type
The rectangular top with moulded edge and inlaid band of lozenges enclosing an interior fitted with two divisions, above dogtooth-inlaid and chequer-banded friezes, the front frieze with a foliate scroll-ended apron, raised to each end on a pair of scrolling supports united by a small double baluster-turned stretcher, on a shaped platform stretcher and four outswept hipped supports, (lacking sliding workbox), 70cm wide x 48cm deep x 72cm high, (27.5" wide x 18.5" deep x 28" high)
