George Morris (1813-21) London
having an 6 3/4" break arched dial, the silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic minutes framing a matted centre with date aperture and inset axe head cartouche' inscribed 'Geo. Morris, London', within cast spandrels beneath a subsidiary Strike/Silent dial, the wire-driven double-fusee movement, striking on a bell; the case having a bell top with brass carrying handle, arched metal pierced fretwork side panels, arched bezel and block feet. Sold with related bracket & pendulum 52cm (20.5") High including handle
