Possibly early 18th century
Each with crowned armorial device to rim, touchmark to rear of rim, Richard Mundey label to the rear stating 16th century. Maker is Jacob Bermoutszn of Leiden, Holland, Recorded Dubbes: - Tin in Nederland, page 365, fig.456. c.1540, diameter 29.5cm, rim 6cm, (41%); together with a chopin capacity tappit hen, the body of typical shouldered-form, with later dome-lid; a 19th century Edinburgh Imperial pint lidded baluster measure, cast maker's mark of Robert Whyte, (w.1805-1851), (OP 5130 PS 10074), to the underside of the lid, a tulip-shaped pint and half-pint mug; three plates and two items of Britannia metal tableware, (11)
