A Charles II oak carved and inlaid coffer
Circa 1670
The triple panelled hinged lid enclosing a till, the top-rail carved with meandering vine above four vine carved panels, between chevron-inlaid muntins, the base-rail with an unusual projecting carved skirt, raised on fish-scale carved extended stile supports, 139cm wide x 59cm deep x 68cm high, (54.5" wide x 23" deep x 26.5" high)
