A boxed set of twenty-two late Victorian brass alloy Imperial ball weights, for the County Borough of Barrow-in-Furness, dated 1894

All marked 2120, to include seven ball weights, all spherical and with loop or knob handle, to weigh 56lb - 1lb, together with a boxed set of nine flat weights, all numbered 2120, dated 1894 and marked for Doyle & Son, weighing 8oz - 1/2dr, and a smaller boxed set of six Apothecaries' or Metric ball weights, all numbered 2120, weighing 480gr, 240gr, 120gr, 72gr, 48gr and 24gr, the earliest verification mark for 1894, all in a black-painted oak box with brass plaque reading 'County Borough of Barrow-in-Furness, Doyle & Son, London', (25 including boxes)
