All numbered 1715, of Imperial Bushel, Half Bushel and Peck capacities, all with balustroid bar handles, the Peck example with later metal strip reading '2 GALLONS', the earliest verification mark for 1881, Bushel diameter 47cm, all in two black-painted boxes, each with brass plaque reading 'Borough of Barrow-in-Furness, Doyle & Son, London', (5 including boxes)
