The square hood with a broken swan-neck pediment and central turned metal finial, above plain pillars flanking a brass 11 inch dial with Roman numerals and applied pierced brass caryatid spandrels, the trunk with a short shaped door and diamond shaped ivory escutcheon, the plain base raised on tall slender bracket feet, the four pillar weight driven mechanism striking on a bell, 226cm high
