A miscellaneous collection of pewter plates, mostly 18th century
To include a single-reed plate, with hallmarks to rim and touchmarks to rear of Edward Leapidge I, (w.1699-1728), diameter 8½in.; another single-reed plate, bearing touchmark of Cuming to rear, (the mark bears similarities to Richard Cuming, OP 1250A, but is not identical to the annotated mark), diameter 8½in.; three plain rim plates, diameter 8¾in.; a plain rim example with touchmark to rear of John Home (w.1749-1777), (OP2393, PS15), diameter 13¼in.; a single reed plate, diameter 15in.; an oval dish; and an 18th century wavy-edge salver, having a narrow reeded rim of six-lobes, engraved to the well with an Agnus Dei cartouche surrounded by leaf-scrolls and surmounted by a Bishop's mitre, touchmark to the rear of the rim, diameter 9½in., (9)
