1976 Honda 49cc Novio
Registration no. SUB 468R
Frame no. PF50-A256406
Having conquered the world during the 1960s by producing millions of 'step-thru' mopeds based on its original C100 Super Cub of 1958, Honda greatly expanded its range of this type of machine during the 1970s, offering a bewildering variety of models catering for every taste. Introduced in 1975, the PF50 Novio (marketed as the Amigo in some countries) was powered by essentially the same overhead-valve engine as its PC50 predecessor but differed from the latter by virtue of its telescopic front fork and fuel tank mounted ahead of the rider. A simple to use, 'twist-'n-go' model with single gear and automatic clutch, the economical Novio was last manufactured in 1978. Acquired by its late owner in 1993, this original and un-restored example currently displays a total of only 3,938 miles on the odometer and is offered for sympathetic restoration. The machines comes with Swansea V5C document and is sold strictly as viewed. No reserve.
