Honda's first 125cc single, the CB125S, first appeared in 1970 and since then this type of machine has been a fixture of its range, offering a combination of performance, agility, user friendliness and economy endearing it to successive generations of younger motorcyclists and commuters alike. Produced alongside the overhead-cam CB125, the cheaper CG came with a pushrod motor, drum front brake and enclosed rear chain, the latter a desirable feature on an everyday commuter-bike. Tested by Bike magazine in 1977, the CG recorded a top speed of 68mph and returned a staggering 103 miles per gallon! This CG125 was supplied new by Miles Kingsport in Hull and currently displays a total of only 9,927 miles on the odometer. Acquired by its late owner in June 2001, 'LKH 580V' has been kept in storage since then and will require re-commissioning before returning to the road. The machine is offered with original owner's manual, warranty card, service booklet (unstamped), old tax discs and Swansea V5C document. No reserve.
Sold for £552 inc. premium
