One set of the 'Dunlop' bridge tyre panels,
comprising 16 pieces making one side of the iconic arch that decorated the footbridge, each panel composed of wooden framework and fibre glass cover, painted black with 'tread' effect to top. The arch is made from 14 main panels, each 5.08m high, 3.27m inside edge, 3.81m top edge, with two smaller triangular end panels. The complete span is approximately: inner hight 10.41m outer height 15.49m. Inside width 46.48m outside width 56.64m. These panels were once fitted to a steel framework mounted on a footbridge, installed in 1977 over the main straight at the Donington Grand Prix circuit. NOTE: the framework and the bridge do not form part of this lot. The panels have been removed from the framework and are stored at Donington.
