A rare 'Bimbo V12' two seat child's motorised car by S.I.L.A. of Turin, Italian, 1950s,
styled by Giovanni Michelotti, based on the Ferrari 375MM Spyder, this example described by the owner in 'As new' condition, finished in Ferrari red over cream interior, stylised Ferrari body, electric motor, and working lights. When these cars were imported into the USA by Ferrari, Inc. of San Francisco, they were advertised as being 'A Real Car - for pre-teen men and women of distinction'. A 12 Volt re-chargable electric motor with chain drive to rear axle, top speed of 7mph, with a maximum range of 35 miles, footpedal and handbrakes, producing a full stop from max speed in 10feet or less.
