  • SCARCE. A complete copy with fine large views, the skies heavy with clouds, of noted buildings in the Bolton area. Includes modern buildings (Bolton Bank, built 1862-3; Park Street Chapel, built 1863, both designed by George Woodhouse), and ancient (Smithills Hall; Turton Tower; Free Grammar School; Worsley Old Hall, etc.). The work is dedicated to local Bolton M.P., John Hick. See illustration at page 94.
