The Principal Navigations, Voiages and Discoveries of the English Nation, 3 vol. in 2, FIRST EDIITON, first issue title with mention of Cadiz, these 7 leaves remargined, just touching a few letters, without the engraved map ("often lacking from the book and may quite possibly not have been issued with it" - ESTC), minor rustholes, and a headline shaved, first title probably from another copy, lot 349 in a Sotheby sale in the 1950s with ticket in John Pashby's hand inserted, Quaritch collation note signed by JOT Howard at end, contemporary calf, minor wear, clasps missing, initials SDCG on covers, perhaps for Sir Duncan Campbell of Glenurquhay [STC 12626; Hill 744; Pforzheimer 443], folio, George Bishop, Ralph Newberie and Robert Barker, 1598-1600
