Autograph 'copy' of a letter from his son the Prince of Wales, to the Prince's mother, the Queen, written out for the Prime Minister, William Pitt, in the King's most formal and neat handwriting: 'My Dearest Mother, I cannot help seizing the very earliest opportunity after the gracious Message I received from the King last night, to express my eagerness to be again admitted to Your presence. I therefore take the liberty through Your means, which ever must be the most pleasing to my feelings, of soliciting to know when my attendance will be agreeable both to the King and You. I remain My Dearest Mother Your ever dutiful and Affectionate Son.
