Second Edition, folding engraved map, 9 engraved plates (7 folding, two just trimmed), one folding table, minor soiling, the Markree Castle copy, with bookplate of Colonel Cooper, contemporary panelled calf, rubbed [Wing L3469], small folio, Samuel Smith, 1684--LASSELS (RICHARD) The Voyage of Italy, 2 parts in one vol., issue with preliminaries signed a6 and e6, inscription by Heneage Finch, Earl of Winchilsea (FSA, 1657-1726) recording that he bought the book in Paris in 1677 and gave it to "My dear friend Major Pownell" and received it back on his death in 1719, printed advertisement (a trifle defective) of George Riley (bookseller, 1743-1829; has just moved to Curzon St. Mayfair, c.1780) pasted inside front cover, calf, worn, repaired [Wing L465], 8vo, Paris, John Starkey, 1670--[BECKFORD (WILLIAM)] Italy; with Sketches of Spain and Portugal, 2 vol., FIRST EDITION, original quarter cloth, printed spine labels a bit worn, 8vo, Richard Bentley, 1834 (4)
