The Natural History of Oxford-Shire, first edition, issue with Plot's initials only on title, and with Miller imprint and price ("price in sheets at the Press, nine shillings. To Subscribers, eight shillings"), folding engraved map (minor tear at fold) and 16 engraved plates, with final blank leaf, some foxing, signature of J[ames] Sotheby, 1698, on title, and 4 pages of manuscript notes on the book, probably in his hand, loosely inserted, bookplate of C.W.H. Sotheby (among the Sotheby heirlooms removed from Ecton Hall Northants, and sold at Sothebys 21/22 November 1955, lot 371), manuscript note on the binding by Graham Pollard tipped in, contemporary black morocco gilt, g.e., joints slightly worn and scuffs filled in [Wing P2586], folio, Printed at the Theatre in Oxford, London, S. Miller, 1677
