A rare early Australian cedar secretaire bookcase
circa 1835
The moulded cornice above a pair of raised half arch panelled doors with lotus leaf carved decoration, enclosing shelves above a secretaire drawer enclosing pigeon holes and drawers above two pedestal cupboards with raised pylon-shaped flame panels enclosing two short drawers, raised on plinth bases, 132cm wide, 57cm deep, 228cm high (51.5" wide, 22" deep, 89.5" high).
