A rare pair of spinach-green jade 'duck and tortoise' candlesticks
Qianlong/Jiaqing
Each formed as a duck standing upright with the wings open and the large bill lowered, supporting a drip pan and tapering pricket on its head, standing on a recumbent tortoise at the centre of a dish supported on three crisp spreading feet.
