Each attractively painted in the blue-green style with solitary travellers in an extensive winding riverscape descending from wooded groves and small clusters of rustic retreats beneath receding ranges of mountain peaks, framed. Overall 98cm x 37cm (38½in x 14½in) (2).

    Wang Yeting (1884-1942) was one of the well known members of the Jingdezhen porcelain painting group known as the 'Eight Friends of Zhushan'.

    Compare a plaque signed by Wang Yeting and a vase with the seal mark of Wang Yeting, both from the Anthony Evans Collection, which were sold in these rooms, 10 November 2011, lots 596 and 605 respectively.
