The exterior carefully decorated with four gilt double-happiness characters, shuangxi, beneath a peach and delicately-speckled bat, between stylised polychrome lotus blooms and leafy sprays, all above a row of stiff lappets at the foot and beneath a border of ruyi-heads at the rim, the interior plain.
