The horn intricately carved beneath the lip with a scholar playing the qin with two attendants in a hall, the scene continuing around the sides with carvings of other scholars variously riding, carrying a scroll, conversing and being waited on by their servants within the surrounding landscape, the handle formed of two intertwined pine trees, the interior plain. 15.3cm (6in) long
