Property from a Pacific Northwest Collector
Two small blue and white porcelain jars
Each of ovoid form with unglazed neck and shoulder are surrounded by an underglaze blue-painted geometric band: the smaller jar, Kangxi period displaying a ribboned pearl, chime and rhinoceros horn surrounded by linked scrolls terminating in leaf shaped clusters (replacement silver cover); the larger, 19th century, encircled with a continuous band of 'One Hundred Children at Play' in an edited garden setting (lacking original cover).
