North India, 2nd century A.D.
standing frontally wearing sheer lower garments with left hands on their hips, the female holds a large drooping lotus and is adorned with large circular earrings and a link belt across her broad hips, the male holds a small lotus blossom in the right hand and is adorned with a thick necklace.
