A pair of blue ground porcelain dragon dishes
Kangxi mark
The curved and flared walls raised on a short foot ring with recessed base, the interior well incised and enameled with a sideways facing five-clawed dragon at the center in aubergine surrounded by green flames and an aubergine flaming pearl, bordered by a band of two striding dragons in green enamel with open mouths spaced by four lobed clouds enameled in aubergine and incised with a double-linzhi head at the center, all atop a cobalt ground, the exteriors with a narrow band of crashing green waves on aubergine rocks above the foot, with a six-character mark within a double ring in underglaze blue.
