Thickly molded with a cupped mouth to the cylindrical neck painted with palace ladies standing to the front of a lattice-work fence while the elongated ovoid body presents a larger gathering of female attendants watching palace beauties play weiqi on a garden rock-work table while others listen to the sounds of a qin played on the reverse side by a young aristocrat seated before a screen of state; the recessed base bearing the six-character mark inscribed in underglaze blue regular script within a double ring.
