A blue and white porcelain dish with iron-red dragon decoration
Qianlong mark and period
The curved well centered with a circular medallion containing a scaly iron-red five-clawed dragon with his mouth slightly agape exposing a single fang atop a ground of underglaze blue cresting and swirling waves, the exterior with similar design of nine iron-red dragons in various poses below a double-cash band, the dish raised on a slightly tapered foot and a recessed base centered with the six-character mark in underglaze blue seal script.
