With gently curved sides rising from a circular foot to a flared rim, covered overall in a crackled glaze of sky-blue tone, the foot rim unglazed,the six-character mark in seal script to the base in underglaze blue. 14in (35.6cm) diameter

    Large Ru-ware type bowls dating from the 18th century are quite rare. Similar sized bowls from the Qianlong period were offered at Christie's New York sale, March 19, 2009, lot 745, and Christie's Hong Kong sale, November 27, 2007, lot 1724.
