A tripod bronze ritual food vessel, li-ding
Late Shang dynasty, 11th century BCE
The tri-lobe body merging into three solid columnar legs and cast with a narrow band of kui dragons above three taotie masks with raised features and centered on a raised flange, all reserved on a leiwen ground below a slightly everted rim supporting a pair of up-right bail form handles.
