An 18 karat enamel-decorated gold box
Late Qing/Republic period
In the shape of a butterfly, the side walls finely incised with leafy peony sprays, the interior of the box divided into three compartments, the well fitted cover filled with bright colored enamels within raised gold wire to define the details, the underside with a cartouche mark, reading []yue hua. (weight: 93.3g).
