An opaque red glass baluster vase
Qianlong mark and period
Heavily built, the baluster body rising to a trumpet neck, its wide mouth finished with a flat lip and gently beveled edge, the add-on straight circular foot with slightly recessed base engraved with the four-character mark within a square; the vase of deep opaque red color, revealing layered colors to the lip, as well as texture and color variations to the interior of its mouth.
