The bearded figure in his tasseled flowing robe with finely incised decoration of lotus flowers, cloud scrolls, and crane roundels, carrying a sword to his back, his left hand holding a fly whisk, his gentle face framed by his long hair tight up to the top and wrapped with a scarf, the incised details heightened in black pigment, with traces of pigment to some recessed areas; attached to a separately carved stand carved in the form of a naturalistic rock.
