Two snuff bottles
The first, 1820-1920, of rock crystal with a wide, flat mouth to the cylindrical neck now covered by a gilt metal hinged mount for use as a scent bottle, the body of rectangular form with rounded shoulders, oval foot and mock animal masks raised in relief to the sides; the second, 1880-1940, of gilt metal, its flattened ovoid body applied with gilt metal wires surrounding jade and other colored stones inset to auspicious vases reversing a lotus plant, the recessed base within the oval foot ring bearing a four-character Qianlong mark.
