Two two-section nephrite belt buckles
18th/19th century
Each similarly carved and undercut with a young chilong biting his split tail as he approaches the head of the elder beast, completed by a separately carved pierced plaque with a young playmate, both sections carved on the underside with a slotted rectangular bar for a belt strap, the stone an even icy white color throughout.
4 1/2 and 4 3/4in (10.8 and 12.1cm) long
