Two nephrite belt hooks
18th century
Each elegantly carved with a young chilong biting a branch of lingzhi fungus which he brings to the open mouth of the elder horned beast, the younger creature sporting a magnificent split tail and sinewy limbs; the stone of one an icy white color with a plain boss, the other greenish white with a carved floral boss for attachment to a leather belt.
6 1/4 and 5 1/2in (15.7 and 13cm) long
