Of lobed form, with a pair of hinged handles rising from the shoulders, the shoulder and foot circled by a gilt metal and sapphire blue enamel leaf band, the body with a turquoise blue ground, decorated with floral motifs, with a fitted copper liner, the two handles suggesting the original purpose of the object was a likely a handwarmer.
