A pair of pieced cast bronze covered urns
19th century
Each of slightly tapering octagonal shape, the corners of the sloping shoulders with separately cast and applied Garuda-like birds suspending a tasseled rope threaded with a bi-disk and terminating above crouching leonine supports, the reticulated dragon medallions and foliate appliqué on the sides accented with colored glass inlay, each conforming lid with a finial of multiple lingzhi branches.
