Young laureate head left, GEORGIVS.II.DEI.GRATIA, partial-toothed border both sides, less so on reverse, reverse: crowned quartered shield of arms, revised garnishing, crown band more ornate, seven hearts to Hanoverian Arms, 11 strings to Irish harp, Scottish arms with inner frame of lis, date 1741 at top .M.B.F.E.T.H.REX.F.D.B.ET.L.D.S.R.I.A.T.ET.E. Regnal year D.QVARTO (1741) on edge in words. Despite light wear, traces of reflectiveness remain in the protected portions of the legends on both the obverse and reverse.
