A Walt Disney typed letter signed to Bobby Driscoll
December 21, 1945, one page, Christmas greetings from Disney to the child star. "Well, here it is almost Christmas and I suppose you're the busiest and about the most excited boy in town! ... Mickey and Minnie and Donald Duck and all the rest of the Disney family join me in saying, Merry Christmas, Bobby." Driscoll starred in some of Disney's most famous live action films of the 1940s, including Song of the South (1946), So Dear to My Heart (1948), and Treasure Island (1950) and also provided the voice of Peter Pan in the animated classic in 1953. In 1950, Driscoll received the Academy's 9th "Juvenile ©Oscar®" in recognition of his performances.
