A Disneyland Jungle River attraction poster
Silkscreen poster, printed in 1956, depicting the Jungle River ride in Adventureland. The ride was one of the park's original attractions, present at its opening in 1955. By the late '60s, the name of the ride had changed to the Jungle Cruise, which is still in use today. This poster was part of the first generation of attraction posters printed in 1956. Designed to elucidate the rides' themes for visitors who had never been to Disneyland before, attraction posters quickly became a beloved feature of the parks and a desirable piece of Disney memorabilia.
