A Bruce Weber photograph of Keanu Reeves and River Phoenix
Black and white photograph, matted and framed. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Laurie Parker, the producer of My Own Private Idaho, noting that this photo was taken during a shoot at a downtown Los Angeles hotel room and was originally intended as key art for the movie poster. The director, Gus Van Sant, later had a falling out with Weber and the photographs were pulled from commercial distribution. They were however used to illustrate a November 1991 Interview magazine article about the film.
