A Betty Grable pair of signed photographs
A reproduction of an Earl Moran portrait, inscribed, "To the Boys of Platoon 121-- Good luck-- Betty Grable." The second, a publicity photo, is inscribed, "To Chester-- Best Always-- Betty Grable." The recipient of the photograph was apparently Private Chester Pauley Jr. of the U.S. Marine Corps, who died in Japan in 1944. A copy of his Navy Cross commendation is included in this lot.
